We commemorated the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, two of India's most revered leaders. The programme was graced by Rev. Fr. Barthalome as the chief guest.
The program began with a beautiful gesture of flowering the portraits of Mahatma Gandhiji and Lal Bahadur Shastri. Followed by a Inter -Religious Prayer Service fostering unity and harmony among people of diverse faiths.
Students from Loyola school and Xavier school delivered speeches on the teachings of Gandhiji and Lal Bahadur Shastri.
Chief Guest Rev. Fr. Barthalome highlighted the importance of Gandhi's teachings to students and encouraged them to imbibe values like compassion, empathy and self-discipline. He emphasized integrating Gandhian values into education, empowering students to create a better world. He ended with Gandhi's famous saying, "Be the change you wish to see in the world".
