Xavier School (CBSE), Manvi, celebrated its Annual Sports Day on 29th November 2024 with great enthusiasm. The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Mr. Khasim Sab, Vice-Principal of Loyola College, Manvi, and presided over by Fr. Leo Pereira SJ, Superior of Loyola Institutions, Manvi.
The day began with the welcoming of the dignitaries, followed by a grand march-past by the students, showcasing discipline and team spirit. Fr. Leo Pereira SJ, in his presidential address, emphasized the importance of sports in fostering holistic development.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Khasim Sab, motivated the students with an inspiring speech highlighting the values of perseverance and teamwork in both sports and life.
Various athletic events and games were conducted for students across all grades, with participants demonstrating exceptional talent and sportsmanship. The crowd was enthralled by the relay races, tug-of-war, and cultural performances that added vibrancy to the day.
